C'est FIni!

Yahoo!
Finally finished the custom made quilt for Julie.
It has taken me a while due to the many other projects on the go, but I am very happy with the result. It was a lot of fun playing around with different shapes and stitches. I especially love the fat little mouton below made from french knots.

I also embroidered (with machine) both her name and birth date on the quilt. If you look closely, you can see ruffles, buttons and collars from all the various baby clothes I used. Something Julie will now have forever.

Beautiful! I love that you used the collar and pockets. It makes is so much more interesting than if you had just used squares of fabric from the baby clothes. Very sweet!!
